A classic butterfly yo-yo: two halves with heavy rims, joined by a printed axle peg. Push the peg into one half, loop a yo-yo string (or any thin cotton string) round the hub, then press the other half on. Add a drop of glue if the fit is loose. DETAILS • 56 mm across, 31 mm wide, with a 3 mm string gap. • Prints with no supports: each half lies on its outer face with a 45-degree chamfer, and the peg lies on a flat cut along its side. • Bambu Studio: 50 min, 25 g for both halves and the peg. Use 3-4 walls and 30%+ infill so it's heavy enough to spin well. CUSTOMIZE (OpenSCAD) Diameter, width of each half, string gap and the peg fit. Designed with AI assistance (OpenSCAD).
