Sobre este modelo

Important! The multicolor version is not designed to be printed in separate pieces and later assembled. If you don't have access to a multi-material capable setup (MMU, AMS unit or similar), please avoid printing the multicolor version of the model. Dimensions (LxWxH) 100 x 63 x 22 mm (100% scale) Basic information In a response to the huge success and overwhelmingly positive feedback to one of my very first creations, the Articulated Whale shark, I decided to revisit the idea, and celebrate its recent Printables Awards nomination with a fresh and even cuter stylized version of the design. I would also like to say say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for my designs, I'm incredibly grateful for your support, and I hope I won't disappoint with my future models. It's been an awesome journey, and I definitely wouldn't be here without you. Thank you! The shark is print-ready, It comes pre-oriented, and doesn't require any additional assembly. Just make sure your print surface is clean, free of any oils, dust or debris to prevent spaghetti disasters, and you're all set. Files information All the files have been thoroughly optimized, and the singlecolor stl takes up less space than an average-sized photo, all without compromising the final quality of the print. That means more space for loads of other awesome designs! I've included 4 files, sorted into 2 folders: - a complete plain stl ready for single color printing, as well as - 2 multicolor stls for AMS/MMU systems (or similar), named by the color used in the example model - a slicing-ready .3mf multicolor file for PrusaSlicer with preassigned colors and print settings

This design is a part of the Articulated Models collection by me. You can check out other designs from this collection here. The Articulated Models collection is a live project, and I'm continuously adding new designs anytime I get an interesting idea or suggestion. The designs are also updated, if any changes or tweaks have to be made. Feedback, suggestions and ideas are welcome! Material PLA Layer height 0,2 mm or lower. Infill >15% Support None. The model doesn't require any support material. Scaling Possible, but keep in mind the accuracy of your setup. If you go too far with your scaling experiments, you might run into issues such as fused segments, or fragile links. If you have a well calibrated setup, you should be able to print the model at up to 75% of the original size without any issues other than loss of definition. Orientation Default, laid flat on the belly. Adhesion aid Not necessary, the contact area with the buildplate should provide a sufficient grip. However if your print surface suffers from poor adhesion, consider using an adhesive spray, or some other kind of adhesion booster. Using a brim is possible, but not recommended, as it would be too difficult, and inconvenient to remove afterwards. All resolved past issues with the model files and detailed information about their fixes will be listed in this section. If you're having any problems which aren't on this list, please visit the Known issues section below. If you don't see your problem mentioned there as well, please leave us a message with more details, so that we're able to address it as soon as possible. There currently aren't any known issues/work in progress. If you run into any, please contact me via dm. My work is free for personal, non commercial use.
