Sobre este modelo

Star Bright has a fun surprise - click the tree and the star will shine with holiday spirit!

Boost MeI consume too much filament and Diet Coke. Your boosts help with one of those expenses :-P It looks like a “normal” clicker, but when you push down, your little tree's star will glow bright. Please read through the info below, since these take extra assembly.

This happy glowing features an LED-integrated clicker, using the design by @cjdinger https://makerworld.com/en/models/3207038-led-mx-key-switch-clicker-insert?from=search#profileId-3629770 - you need to print this insert. Please download the LED clicker from the original maker! Purchase 3mm diode lights and CR1220 coin batteries. Assemble the clicker mechanism as shown on the link above, or in my video at the bottom.

DM me if you want tips on finding the diodes, clickers, and batteries I used. I used red 3mm LED diodes on this example.

The base for this is specifically designed with a negative part to fit the insert above. If you try just putting a regular clicker in without using that insert, it won't snap in right. For safety, I recommend gluing in the base to make sure the coin battery can't be dislodged if the top clicker part pops off.

The diode should be at the 12:00 position when you insert the clicker so it lines up right with the nose.

Assembly video here from another clicker - the concept is the same! https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/1228412833

I used opaque filaments here except for the star, where I used translucent yellow. You'll see a yellow cylinder over the star - this is an intentional modifier to make sure the translucent yellow goes all the way through the top cap so the yellow color isn't just on the top layers, so the color can penetrate the entire clicker.

Stay tuned! I have more holiday clickers planned!
