RX-78 Optimus Prime Conversion Mod This mod kit allows you to transform your RX-78 into an Optimus Prime-inspired design! Assembly Guide The assembly process is almost identical to the original RX-78 TPU Joint model, with the exception of the head. You can refer to the original RX-78 TPU Joint assembly guide for instructions on assembling the model. If you have already printed my RX-78 TPU Joint model: You only need to print the new helmet and shoulder antennas, then repaint most of the existing body parts to match the Optimus Prime color scheme. If you are printing the model from scratch: No problem! I've also included a complete .3mf file containing all the STL parts needed to build the model. Included Files Two .3mf files are provided:
- Modification Parts Only – Contains only the parts needed to convert your existing RX-78 into an Optimus Prime-inspired design.
- Complete Model Files – Contains all the STL parts required to print the entire model from scratch.
