Sobre este modelo

Astromech droids were crucial companions for starfighter pilots across the galaxy. These droids were designed to perform a variety of duties, from simple repairs and maintenance to navigation and even piloting functions. Astromechs often functioned as co-pilots on smaller craft. I've been working through a roster of iconic droids from the Star Wars universe in Black Series scale. I balked a while back at the price of droids at this scale - spending so much on a droid specifically to customize felt insane. So instead I decided to print my own models to customize into a fleet of droids, whether they be Coca-Cola droids from Galaxy's Edge or iconic characters like R2 and Chopper. I figured I should drop these today to help celebrate the release of Ahsoka and the return of our favorite war-criminal droid Chopper to the screen. :-) Like my other droids, I wanted something simpler and more forgiving that can be made on a typical FDM printer. It is optimized for printing, not necessarily 100% screen accurate. I found that a small button-head screw worked well to attach the droid's head to the neck ring, offering a more robust connection than the neck pin I engineered.
