Gundam Inspired Shifter for TH8S

Overview When your mobile suit has a manual transmission you'll need this shifter. Assembles with minimal extra requirements - mostly glue; although I'm working on tolerances to make the pegs tighter for snap-fitting. Printed Parts - Colour choices are optional Gundam Screw Core The main chassis that most pieces will slide onto, screw into, or peg into. (ew) Print it thread end down - shoooouldn't need supports depending on your choice of filament. I recommend PETG 0.2mm layer height. Colour: Black. Bottom Surround Print base-down - 0.2mm height - Colour: White. Grip Wrapper Print topside-down - 0.2mm height - Colour: Blue - Fuzzy skin on the outside for grip is recommended. Top Surround Print topside-down - tree supports seem to work best - 0.2mm height - Colour white. Center Vent Pin Print frontside-down so the vent strakes are vertical; might need some slight supports for the middle notch - 0.08mm height - Colour: Yellow. Triangle Pegs x 4 Print however you'd like (one side down for speed maybe?) Front Shield Print rearside-down - 0.2mm to 0.08mm, the stepping of larger layers can look intentional - Colour: Blue. Rear Shield Print rear-side down - 0.2mm to 0.16mm - Colour: White. Rear Grille Print grille-down - 0.08mm - Colour: Red Top Capper Print bottom-down - 0.2mm - Colour: Black Top Cap Print either bottom-down or top-down depending on what top surface finish you're happy with - Given the angle of the top; I'd opt for extra top layers if printing bottom down and pick a denser infill to prevent drooped lines (which can expose the infill pattern) - 0.08mm - Colour: Red.

Assembly Slot the Bottom Surround, Grip Wrapper, and Top Surround onto the Gundam Screw Core from the top.

Slide the Center Vent Pin in from the side to lock the previous 3 pieces into place.

Using two Triangle Pegs, position the Front Shield into place. This may require some glue on the pegs. Using a Triangle Peg, position the Rear Shield into place along with the Rear Grille Optionally a 2mm hole is provided on the Rear Shield and Rear Grille to attach them with an M2 screw prior to gluing into place. (Or simply glue the Rear Grille as-is) Using the final Triangle Peg, position the Top Capper and Top Cap.
