Sobre este modelo
A cozy gingerbread house you can click: piped icing, gumdrops on the roof, a wreath on the door and snow at the bottom, with a real mechanical switch inside.
About the design Nothing says Christmas quite like a gingerbread house, so I built one you can keep in your pocket and click all season long. The cap is built in layers at different heights, so it looks like an actual decorated gingerbread house and not a flat picture:
- Roof: the highest layer, with scalloped white icing along the edges and 9 rounded gumdrops in red and green
- Eaves: icicle drips of different lengths hanging over the walls
- Door: recessed red door with a white icing frame and a green wreath
- Windows: two recessed windows with white piped frames and crossbars
- Snow: a fluffy snowdrift along the bottom, partly covering the door
- Chimney: sits behind the roof, with a snowy top
- Base: follows the outline of the house, with a keychain loop on top so it hangs straight
What you need
- 1 × MX-compatible mechanical keyboard switch. Clicky switches (e.g. blue) give the best sound.
- 4 colors for the cap: brown (gingerbread), white (icing and snow), red and green. The base can be any color; green or red looks festive.
- No glue or screws.
Assembly
- Press the switch into the square hole in the base until it clicks into place.
- Push the cap onto the switch stem.
- Click away and enjoy the holidays! 🎅
