Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Version 2 is available now! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ With heavy inspiration from @Nakozen and their delightful Christmas-themed kit cards, I've created a Gingerbread-styled church! It even has just enough space to fit a small, LED tea light. I also made sure to keep the design simple so that it can be printed with an easy filament change, for those of us who don't have a fancier solution! I've included two versions of the kit, one with "Merry Christmas" on it and one that's blank, so that you can put whatever you'd like it to say on it. Just be sure that your text crosses over the 3mm height for the color/filament change! I've also included each of the pieces on their own, but you'll have to print the side twice! These are designed to be printed with 0.2mm layer height, with a color/filament change after 3mm. Infill doesn't seem to matter all that much, mostly because it's kind of thick. I've been printing mine with 2 walls and 10-15% Adaptive Cubic or plain, old Grid. In the v1 files, the tolerance is very tight and the connections are pretty small. I really like the tight tolerances, but it can be a little difficult to get the roof pieces on. For the connections, I haven't had any problems with it on mine, but I've been letting the bed cool down before bending the plate slightly to pop them off. In the v2 files, the tolerance on the roof pieces has been increased and the roof is very easy to put on. It's a little too loose for me, but it's not really a problem unless you're moving it around. The connections are nice and solid! I would love to see your makes! Enjoy! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ CHANGELOG v1 - Initial Release v2 - Increased the strength of the connections and added more tolerance to the roof pieces
