Sobre este modelo
Klaatu Barada N… Necktie… Nectar… Nickel… Noodle It's an "N" word; it's definitely an "N" word! That's what happens when you don't listen to the druid. You get a mutant zombie apocalypse. You're welcome, happy Halloween, everyone. Everything's printed in place in the model. No AI was used, neither in the creation of the model, nor in this text or the Images. All just pure necromantic wizardry. This model is a variation of the club member-exclusive new Bo the flexi T-Rex model, which is a remake of Tessa the T-Rex, who is free for all (also to remix). If you want access to all FlexiDinos, go join! Update: I just finished a Zombie with a saddle that stays in place with magnetic inserts. You can get him here:
Print instructions and finish It's a delicate print, but it's definitely worth it. I had better results with very high layer heights, as some steep corners might start curling up and ruin the print. If you have an issue, use a mouse ear version; it should stick the last three tail joints down. The model was designed with PLA on a Prusa CORE One+. To break the connectors beneath the tentacle joint, just grab the tentacle tightly as close to the joint as possible and wiggle. Don't use force, as the tentacle might break instead of the connector in the joint. Just wiggle and twist and it will come loose eventually. Prying the eye loose is especially fun. Take a pointy object and stick it into the eyehole. Then start wiggling until it snaps. When it snaps, you're done. Hostel Vibes! The jaws can open and close in agony, and the rest of the body is flexible for shambling, as usual. Use the custom brim version I included if you have trouble with the small parts sticking to your bed. If you don't want to insert magnets, just print it without a pause; it works fine with or without magnets. The model includes a cavity to add a 5 mm Ø x 2 mm magnet and make it rideable for Thag. You can find a more detailed description in this article. As always, if you have issues with the model, get in touch. Prusa ColorMix print instructions I don't have an INDX yet, so this is a complete shot in the dark. Since this model is lying on its side, I needed to come up with a way to get some unrastered color into its flanks. So this is what I came up with: Switch the gold and silver spool with two matching colors (in my file I chose a dark and lighter purple). That will be the two base colors of the body and stripes. The details will be printed in CMYKW. Feedback on this is very welcome! I can't wait to get my INDX so I can try it myself and start improving the file. Edit, 13. Oct. 2026: Added the name of the Model donated by club members (Thank you <3). Removed Model of the Month in the title, it will remain on Printables afterwards. Edit, 19. Oct. 2026: Switched cover image. Edit, 21. Oct. 2026: Added Prusa ColorMix version and print instructions. Updated cover image. Edit, 24. Oct. 2026: Added link to Throgg the Zombie rider. SWALLOWING MAGNETS MIGHT BE FATAL!!! Magnets and 3D printed parts are in no way suitable for small children. They might break and leave sharp edges, so make sure the kids are old enough to know what they're doing! Also make sure you don't have a steel nozzle inserted as it might pick up the magnets while printing and ruin something.
