Sobre este modelo
🎄 Meet the Flexi Candy Cane! This festive Candy Cane is anything but stiff. Its entire body is made from individually articulated tiles, linked together with tiny flexible rings hidden between the pieces. No assembly, no glue, no supports: just print it, pop it off the plate and start flexing. Why you'll love it
- 🔗 Fully flexible: bend, twist and curl the Candy Cane in your hands
- 😌 Satisfying fidget: the articulated tiles move smoothly and feel great in your hand
- 🖨️ One print, zero assembly: print-in-place articulated design
- 🚫 No supports: designed to print without supports
- 🎄 Perfect for Christmas: use it as a festive decoration, desk toy or holiday gift
- 🎁 Great gift: a fun little Christmas present for kids and adults
Design The Candy Cane is built from a series of articulated tiles connected with small integrated rings. This gives the model its characteristic Flexi movement while keeping the classic red-and-white Christmas candy cane look. The articulated design makes it fun to play with, pose and flex after printing. Print settings
- Printer: Bambu Lab P2S, 0.4 mm nozzle (works on any well-tuned printer)
- Profile: 0.20 mm Standard
- Filament: PLA
- Walls: 2
- Infill: 15% Grid
- Supports: None
- Brim: Auto
The recommended settings are included in the 3MF file. After printing
- Let the build plate cool down completely before removing the print.
- Gently flex each section of the Candy Cane to free the articulated links.
- Work your way through the model until all sections move freely.
- If a section feels stuck, gently twist it rather than pulling hard.
Tips
- Calibrate your flow and first layer for the best results.
- Avoid excessive elephant's foot, as the small articulated rings need enough clearance to move freely.
- PLA generally gives the smoothest movement for this type of model.
- Red and white filament gives the classic Christmas Candy Cane look, but feel free to experiment with your own colours! 🎨
- Try different colour combinations to create your own unique Candy Cane.
