Sobre este modelo

This is a replica I've been wanting to recreate for quite some time! Demley Auto-Dice were manufactured by the Demley Company NY in the 1920s and have become an expensive and sought-after collectors item. As you can see, the dice have a fantastic Art Deco aesthetic. You can imagine someone using them in a speakeasy or other nightlife establishment in the roaring 20's. The original Auto-Dice were constructed of metal and could easily fit in a coat pocket. My version is at 150% scale, but still reasonably pocket-sized. The entire mechanism is 3D printed, with the exception of one 20mm x 4mm (OD) spring, which is the standard sized spring in a Bic pen that most people will be able to find lying around in a random drawer. Print list (recommended to print at 50% infill or higher with multiple perimeters) base - print 1 button - print 1 clip - print 6 fork - print 1 lid - print 1 rotor_left - print 1 rotor_right - print 1 screw - print 4 UPDATE: Version 2.0 I updated the rotors and fork. Pip size was increased and I added a hexagonal surface to bottom of rotors to eliminate drift when stopped. Performance is greatly improved. If you've already printed the other pieces, you can still use them, they are unchanged. Only the two rotors and fork require reprinting. UPDATE: Slight revision to fork Reduced height of teeth on fork by 0.2mm to enhance clearance during rotor wobble
