Sobre este modelo

One brain cell. Infinite clicks. Ever feel like your brain is running on its last click? Now you can actually press it. Brain Dead is a miniature 3D-printed skull with an exposed, pressable brain powered by a mechanical keyboard switch. Press the brain, get a satisfying tactile click, and watch it spring back up. No batteries, no electronics, and absolutely no thinking required. A little creepy, a little ridiculous, and surprisingly satisfying. How it works The skull acts as the housing for a mechanical keyboard switch, while the exposed brain functions as the button. Each press activates the switch, providing a tactile response and returning the brain to its original position. It’s a simple mechanical fidget with a Halloween twist. What you’ll need - 3D-printed skull housing

- 3D-printed brain button

- 1 compatible mechanical keyboard switch

The skull and brain can be printed in separate colors, so no multicolor printer is required. Note: The mechanical switch is a separate component and is not included in the printed parts. Printing For the classic exposed-brain look: - Skull: White or bone-colored filament

- Brain: Bright red or pink filament

- Layer height: 0.12 for the skull 0.24 for the brain. Z-sculpting enabled

- Supports: suggested, minimal for the skull

- Print time: 35mins and 19 mins at 15% infill

Assembly - Print the skull housing and brain button.

- Install the mechanical keyboard switch in its mounting position inside the skull.

- Attach the brain button to the switch stem.

- Press the brain to test its travel and return.

That’s it. Your skull is officially brain-operated. About this remix This project started with two existing 3D model for the skull, see remix below. I adapted it into a Halloween-themed mechanical clicker, turning the exposed brain into an interactive button operated by a keyboard switch. Credit to the original designer for the source model. Halloween 2026: Make It Move Created for the Printables Halloween 2026: Make It Move challenge. The movement is small, but press the brain and you’ve done it. If you print one, share your make. I’d love to see what color combinations and switches everyone uses. I did red, bone, white, and chrome for the brain so far. Will share more images, if interested. Happy printing, and remember: use your brain. Or just click it.
