Now I'm onto miniatures for Modular Barovia and one of the key fights in the death house involves some animated armor. The Death House module calls out "wolf-headed" armor specifically - the Dursts maybe had a thing for wolves so I've made a variant of these suits (although not the attack pose for it). There are a couple variants here - armor1 was my first attempt and I kinda went in blind without references or a plan and ended up with something maybe a bit more sci-fi / messy than ideal and was pretty bummed out. I rallied though and tried again and I'm pretty happy with the results. For the process on these I made a lot of individual parts, remeshed and sculpted and rigged then optimized them all. It was a bit of work and I'm happy to be done for now. So we've got 3x types of armor and in a standing / guard pose and 1x in an attack pose. For printing most of these are going to be pretty solid so you might be able to print the guard ones at least completely upright. If you have issues then try -45 or -90 degrees on the x-axis. Printing without the baseplate is always ideal as it will allow for a nicer baseplate print. For resin users I've gone ahead and generated some pre-supported files for you all today.
