Zip Tie Clips — 1-Inch Stick-On Cable Mounts 🔗 A loose cable gets snagged, kicked and tangled. These are the classic stick-on zip tie mounts, printed instead of bought: stick one down, run a tie through it, and the cable stays where you routed it. I printed a plate of 14 and put them to work under my desk and along the cable for the light on my desk hutch. 🟩 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 ▸ 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘁 𝟭-𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲 — The square bottom takes a square of double-sided foam mounting tape. ▸ 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿-𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗧𝗶𝗲 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 — A bridged hub in the middle leaves a tunnel in both directions, so the tie runs whichever way the cable goes. ▸ 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗶𝗲𝘀 — The tunnel is 5.5mm wide, so common 4.8mm (3/16") ties and anything narrower fit. ▸ 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗽 𝗧𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 — About 20 minutes and under 2 g each, so print a whole plate. 🟩 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗟 ▸ Cut a square of double-sided foam mounting tape about 1" across and press it onto the base. ▸ Wipe the spot clean and dry, peel the liner and press the clip down firmly. ▸ Thread a zip tie through the tunnel, around the cable, and pull it snug. ▸ Trim the tail flush. 🟩 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 The 3MF has one clip on the plate.
