ZEN RIPPLE TRAY – Karesansui Ring Dish (Free Base)

A pocket of calm for your desk.

This is the ripple-patterned base of my Zen Desk Tray — a miniature karesansui (Japanese dry garden) for your rings and small everyday objects. Even on its own, the wave-textured tray works beautifully as a ring dish or trinket tray.

The complete set adds three snap-in stones and a stone lantern that click into the tray's anchor points — rearrange them freely to compose your own tiny landscape, and park your rings on the stones. • 180 × 100 mm wave-ripple tray, inspired by raked gravel in zen gardens

• Photos show both this free base and the full set, so you can see where it goes — the stones and lantern are part of the full set, not this free download.

• No supports needed. The included 3MF print profile adds small anti-warp discs at the corners (the tray is square, so the corners like to lift) — just snap them off after printing.

• Layer height tip: the included profile uses the standard 0.2 mm layer height. For a finer finish, print at 0.08 mm — the ripple texture comes out noticeably smoother and more detailed.
