Sobre este modelo
Second version of my YubiKey case, now for both the YubiKey 5C NFC (USB-C, 18 × 45 × 3.7 mm) and the YubiKey 5 NFC (USB-A, 18 × 45 × 3.3 mm). Each key has its own set of STLs – pick the one that matches your key. The case has two parts: a sleeve that holds the key and a cap that snaps into it. A metal key ring goes through the Ø3.4 mm hole in the cap and through the key's own ring hole, so the key stays in place even if the cap is pulled. What's new compared to v1: - two-part design with a snap detent: two small bumps on the cap click into dimples in the sleeve - equal 1.35 mm walls on all sides (3 extrusion lines with a 0.4 mm nozzle), so it prints clean and solid - guide ribs inside the sleeve keep the key from rattling - chamfered sleeve mouth and cap tongue for easy insertion and to hide elephant's foot - fully parametric FreeCAD source: every dimension lives in the Params spreadsheet
Assembled size: 24 × 9 × 52 mm (5C NFC version), 24 × 8.6 × 52 mm (5 NFC version).
