WoolRest - Paintable Nativity Sheep | Resting Pose

WoolRest is a resting sheep with flowing sculpted wool, folded legs and an integrated oval base. Print it in one colour and paint it by hand as part of a Christmas nativity or a small countryside diorama. Size: 58.5 × 33.5 × 34.1 mm. One piece, supplied with the base flat at Z0. Keep the original size for your first trial. Files and painting guide The download includes the STL, a geometry-only 3MF, editable Python source, bilingual instructions and a two-page print-and-paint guide. The numbered colour guide uses the same geometry as the printable sheep. Its numbers are on the guide rather than engraved on the figurine; the six colours are a suggestion. Printing notes The digital check uses a generic PLA profile with a 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.16 mm layers and organic supports allowed everywhere. Supports are required around the ears, chin and some fleece undercuts. The 3MF includes geometry and placement, without a printer profile or G-code. Inspect your own sliced preview before printing. Small tips and grooves may soften in FDM printing. Reducing the size also reduces these details. Remove supports carefully and finish their contact points before priming and painting. Verification: checked digitally. Physical printing, support removal, strength, stability and painting have not yet been tested.
