Production & Fabrication Details

This is a multi-process project designed for makers who own both a 3D printer and a laser cutter.

1. 3D Printed Main Body

• Design: Clean, minimalist curved capsule shape with an angled accent window and 5 integrated hanging hooks. • Material Suggestion: PLA, PETG, or ABS in white or a neutral color to contrast nicely with wood grain. • Supports: Minimal supports may be needed depending on your printer's bridging capabilities for the pocket openings and hooks.

2. Laser Cut Wood Components

• Cactus Insert: A layered, interlocking 3D cactus made from stacked laser-cut sheets to create a ribbed, high-texture desert aesthetic. • Front & Top Mesh Panels: Intricately engraved or cut geometric patterns that press-fit directly into the recessed windows of the 3D-printed shell. • Material Suggestion: 2mm walnut, cherry, or maple plywood/MDF.
