- Filament Dryness: For precision prints like this, every detail counts—including the condition of your filament. Make sure your PETG filament is dry before printing. In my tests, what seemed like a brand-specific issue with the zip tie disintegrating between layers was resolved simply by drying the filament, dramatically improving the strength and functionality of the printed ties.
