Ultra-Duty Overengineered Wall Hook / Cord Hanger

Overengineered Heavy-Duty Wall Hook Needed a wall hook that could easily handle heavy, bulky industrial power cords—so I built one so thick you could probably stand on it. Whether you're hanging thick 12-gauge extension cords, heavy power tools, or shop equipment, this hook isn't going anywhere.

Designed with a wide circular mounting base to distribute load across multiple fasteners, a steep retaining lip to prevent coiled cords from slipping off, and clean structural geometry.

Files Included - STEP File: Included for easy parametric editing and remaking in your CAD software of choice. - 3MF File: Pre-calibrated print setup with optimized strength parameters.

Recommended Print Settings - Material: PCTG (PETG or even PLA would probably work fine but I designed for PCTG). - 0.6 mm Nozzle - Layer Height: 0.30 mm - Infill: 30%+ (Gyroid) - Walls/Perimeters: 4–5 outer walls recommended for heavy loads

Hardware Needed 4x Countersunk drywall screws or wood screws (sized to match the mounting plate's recessed holes) with appropriate wall anchors if mounting directly into drywall.
