Start with the larger, simpler zig zag pathways and encourage your child to follow the grooves slowly and steadily. Once they feel confident, introduce the tighter patterns with more frequent direction changes. Try tracing each pattern with a finger first, then progress to using the ergonomic pencil. Encourage slow, controlled movements rather than speed, especially when turning at each corner. There's no need to rush! This can help keep the two pieces together during storage or supervised activities. ⚠️ Important: A string or cord can create a strangulation or entanglement hazard, especially for young children. We recommend using the board and pencil without a string whenever possible. If you choose to attach a string, use only under constant, direct adult supervision. Never leave a child unattended with an attached cord. Do not allow the cord to be worn around the neck or wrapped around any part of the body. Compatibility with other printers cannot be guaranteed, and adjustments to print settings may be required. 💡 Print Tip: We use BIQU CryoGrip build plates to improve bed adhesion and help prevent warping, particularly on larger pieces such as this tracing board. For the best fit between the pencil and tracing pathways, we recommend printing both components at 100% scale. Ensure all printed surfaces, edges and tracing channels are smooth before use. ⚠️ Safety Information Not intended for children under 3 years. Adult supervision is recommended. Small or damaged printed parts may present a choking hazard. String & Cord Safety: Attaching a string creates a potential strangulation and entanglement hazard. The attachment feature is optional and should only be used under constant, direct adult supervision. Never leave an attached cord accessible to an unsupervised child, including during sleep or rest.
