Tiny Camera Cage Cable Holder – 1/4-20 Mount PETG

por NikitaMmedia en MakerWorld

A tiny cable holder for a cleaner camera rig. I couldn’t find a cable holder small enough for my camera cage, so I designed my own. This little clip keeps my cables organized without adding much bulk to the rig.

Sobre este modelo

A tiny cable holder for a cleaner camera rig. I couldn’t find a cable holder small enough for my camera cage, so I designed my own. This little clip keeps my cables organized without adding much bulk to the rig. Features

- Compact design that sits close to the camera cage.

- Attaches to a standard 1/4-20 mounting point.

- Designed around cables measuring 2.4–4.2 mm in diameter.

- Uses very little filament.

- Cheap and easy to replace when needed.

Quick to print 10 pieces for 49 minutes, 3g of plastic total I use PETG since I live in Hawaii and it has better UV resistance. Matte Lime so it looks cool on the cage!

Boost MePlease consider to boost me, it motivates to create and drop more free models for fellow filmmakers, photographers, videographers, and other camera gear nerds like me :)Cable fit and installation I designed this around the cables on my own rig, which measure 2.4–4.2 mm in outer diameter. Cable shape, jacket flexibility, and print tolerances can affect the fit. Screw in the holder to a suitable 1/4-20 mounting point on your cage, then gently seat your cable in the clip. Leave enough slack for your setup. This is a small, replaceable part intended for light cable management. Avoid forcing oversized cables into it or pulling hard on the clip. If one breaks, simply print another. Help me improve it The model is free to download. If you print it, I’d love to see a photo of it on your rig! Need a different cable size or have an idea for the next version? Leave a comment with your cable diameter and what you’d like to change.
