Sobre este modelo
This model is a Polynesian tiki mask created with Meshy. The print in the photo is 24" tall and used 0.85 roll of PLA but of course you can print it any size. I printed it on a Bambu A1 at 0.1mm layer height (probably overkill) and 15% square infill. You'll want to orient it facing up. It took 65 hours of print time for the 4 split pieces I defined. The first piece I tried to print came loose after a few hours, so I increased the base layer of the tree supports until they were big enough to become a single piece. No problems after that. Post printing involved gluing the splits together, filling the gaps with putty, sanding, more putty and sanding again so the seam disappear. I used a white spray paint/primer, followed by colored acrylic paints. Then a coat of matte acrylic sealer, an antiquing application of 1:5 parts black acrylic paint to water, brushed on then wiped off. Finally, another coat of matte sealer.
