Sobre este modelo
Christmas series model #3 — more coming before December gets here!Hang a string of retro bulbs on your tree, except these ones open up 🎄 Each light is a mesh thermoformed shell in the classic big-bulb shape, topped with a silver screw-base cap. The two halves clip shut with a small connector — NO glue — so you can pop it back open and refill it whenever you want.
The cap has a small loop on top, so a length of twine runs straight through a row of them and you have a garland. Red, yellow, and blue is the classic combo, but anything on your shelf works.
The mesh lets the candy peek through, which is really what makes this one land as a gift. Fill it, clip it, hand it over. Three sizes included:
- Small — around 65mm tall
- Medium — around 100mm tall, this is my usual size
- Big — around 140mm tall
Perfect for:
- Candy, chocolates, and small sweets
- Tree ornaments — thread twine through the cap loop
- Mantel, shelf, or window garlands
- Stocking stuffers and office gift exchanges
- Party favors on a holiday table
🛠️ Printing Notes
- Prints flat, no supports
- Mold in PETG, bulb halves and cap in PLA
- Silver filament is what sells the screw base — metallic PLA looks great here
- Use even heat when forming so the mesh keeps its shape
- Print three in different colors and string them together
Festive, hollow, and giftable — the third of many holiday thermoforms. Happy printing 🎄
