Even though Tatra T3 is one of the most successful trams in the world, the trailer car with the appropriate design was not used much.
As not appropriate for hilly Czech cities, not wanted in USSR and too wide for most of East German cities, it was used in the end only in two German cities - Schwerin and Chemnitz.
