Tarp Clamp

I chose PETG since with camping and rubbish tip runs they'll only see a couple of weeks direct sunshine a year, so they should be plenty UV stable enough for that. Choose ASA if you're using them outside more permanently for a shade-cloth, sign etc. Print the jaws on their side and the lock ring upside down. Turn off supports. I've included small brims in the jaws model but there's a version without those if you prefer. Print the locking ring with the seam oriented to the back for cleanest result.

I've included the 3mf project file for the settings I've used to print this citrus assortment, 2 at a time. Printed here in eSun PETG+HS solid yellow and solid orange. Inside the jaws there are 45 degree 0.4mm overhangs to allow the central locking rack to flex independently. To assemble first press the centre in to crack that free, remove the brim, then push the locking ring up to engage the teeth. Push the jaw end of the rack in to release the lock ring to reopen.
