Sobre este modelo
I designed this holder/mount for my daughter who has Cerebral palsy. She is non-verbal and I wanted to make something that was simpler than taking her large expensive AAC device out trick or treating. In this example, one button says "Trick-Or-Treat" and the other says "Thank You". I have also uploaded the original version which only holds one button. At the bottom I will post a link for the buttons that I used as well as the mount. There is a free similar mount on Printables, but I have not tried that one yet. I will also include the link below.
The tolerances are very tight (as I don't want the buttons to pop out too easily and I don't want to use double sided tape or glue so that I can change batteries or re-program the buttons. After programming the buttons I put them in the freezer for about 20 minutes and then they will easily fit into the rings and will not slide out. To remove the buttons just use the space on the bottom side to push the button out from the backside.
I used PETG-CF for this as I wanted the parts to be dimensionally accurate, heat resistant and durable. The "D" rings that are built into the holder are designed to hold bags/buckets etc with carabiners. I'm working on re-designing this to have a hook so that buckets can be used without risk of spilling the candy. With my preliminary testing with the PETG-CF filament, these rings with carabiners can hold a regular bucket with a Costco sized bag (4lbs) of candy without failure. The mounting hole is slightly too small, so you may need to drill it out just a hair (or resize it). Please feel free to remake this design, my only ask is that all remakes and derivatives remain free to the public. This is not for commercial use. Selling these files or physical prints of this design or any derivatives thereof is strictly prohibited. Any remakes or derivatives must give attribution to the original creator, Desert Hobbies.
Print Settings: Printed on Flashforge Adventurer 5m Pro with .6 nozzle and PETG-CF filament. I used normal snug supports, but removed supports for the mounting hole. 6 walls and 33% Gyroid infill. Ironing on all top layers (unless you want the octogram or other top layer design).
