A ring for the Tag-Connect TC2030-CLIP retaining board. The clip is glued into a cradle that is hinged to the ring, so it can point forward or fold up. The barrel wells flare at the top to make room for the solder on hand-soldered barrels. It prints in place, with no supports or assembly: - tc2030-clip-ring.stl is printed with the head folded up, which keeps the barrel wells vertical. This is the recommended file.
- tc2030-clip-ring-flat.stl is printed with the head lying flat.
Free the hinge after printing by working it back and forth a few times. The ring has a 19 mm inner diameter; change finger_d in the .scad for another size. The pocket is 1.5 mm deep, sized for the clip board as I measured it. Tag-Connect's drawing gives 0.914 mm, so measure your board and change clip_t if it differs.
