Sobre este modelo
Ideally this vice is stronger screwed to a piece of wood. It can then be layed out so its more stable and straight. You will need minimum of 4-6 10mmx3mm countersunk screws. plus up to 8 to screw down to a plate. I recommend using a gas lighter to heat the screw for a second so they thread into the blocks smoothly. The handle thread is a very tight fit so I blasted the hole with a gas lighter for a second (one) then screwed the thread through and added some cutting oil which made it work perfectly. The sliding part presses into the moving clamp part so screws are optional unless under a lot of pressure then they will be required. Seemed safer to leave without the two centre screws for the kids incase they decided to put their fingers in it! Attachments are personalised to me. Clip in place Feel free to edit these yourselves. The grip face is omni directional and the plates rest on top so remain removeable and replaceable. Or even add your own twist to suit your needs. I do not recommend using a plastic printed part for machining metal parts but for holding small items like wood for drilling this should do fine. clamp handle added as after thought but is a nice little add on. Best extra is the cylinder clamp attachment which helps grip nails, wire, bolts or anything cylindrical vertically or horizontally
