The "Nothing to See Here" Screw Cap 🎯

I was hanging pegboard with T25 star drive deck screws and kept staring at the same thing: a wall full of exposed screw heads. Functional? Sure. Pretty? Absolutely not. So I designed a press-fit cap that snaps right over the socket and disappears.

🟩 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞

▸ 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝘁 — Snaps snugly over the T25 star socket head. The tapered end makes installation manageable without needing a mallet or a prayer.

▸ 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 — Match your wall, your pegboard, your aesthetic. If you print face-down on a textured bed, the top surface will look better than my prototype photos suggest.

▸ 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 — Pulled mine off and repopped it two or three times without issue. PLA works fine; if you want extra durability, PETG is a solid upgrade.

▸ 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗶𝘁 — Screw dimensions vary box to box. If the fit is off, a uniform scale adjustment in your slicer corrects it without affecting press-fit performance.

▸ 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗗𝗼𝘇𝗲𝗻 — The 3MF carries four ready-made plates: 1, 6, 12 and 24 caps. Print a single cap to check the fit against your screws, then come back and run a full plate once you know it seats.

🟩 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦

No supports required · 0.08mm layer height · 15% infill · 30/30 speed · PLA or PETG

One small heads up — these photos are from the first test run. Yours will likely look cleaner, especially off a textured plate. Happy hiding! 🎯
