Sobre este modelo
This is a remix of Jonathan Mayer's excellent TPU prescription lens holders remixed to hold the 44mm round lenses from Zenni Optical. I know a lot of people (including myself) already have these lenses sitting around from other VR headset projects so I figured I would remix to fit them. I tested eye tracking using HonsVR Eye Tracking Tool and it worked, but I don't have a lot of experience with that. I was able to look at each dot that it highlighted and it would progress to the next one, so I'm calling it "working". The lens isn't super tight so a touch of hot glue might be in order for those who are doing significant movement in VR. I like mini-golf, it's pretty low-impact. There is a slight loss of view and I'm considering cheating the lenses out towards the edges to try to minimize it as at the moment they are perfectly centered in the adapter. Feel free to remix, I may not get a lot of time to work on it, plus, it works so I may not go much further with the project. This print is what I used for the Right eye and mirrored the model for the left eye, but I honestly can't tell the two apart except for the silver Sharpie I used to put an "R" on the first one. Don't forget to mark "top" on the lenses somehow or you could get them out of alignment and affect your prescription. I used the same silver sharpie to put a dot at the top edge of the lens.
