Threaded insert shift knob adapter for the common aftermarket 12-1.25 shift knobs available. The outer thread of the adapter is 12-1.25 and the inner thread matches the 5/16-18 of the gearshift lever. The adapter is longer than you might need. Screw it into your shift knob and cut off the excess. If you don't it will just sort of come apart as you try to spin it onto the lever's threaded portion. The adapter is very thin so it will unwind if you don't cut it. the internal portion is supported so it stays intact.
