The "Set It and Forget It" Spool Desiccant Holder

You vacuum seal your filament. You stack the bags neatly. And then you realize your desiccant canister sticks up just enough to make the whole thing awkward. I wanted something that disappeared inside the spool hub, flush enough to stack bags cleanly on top. So I designed one.

WHAT MAKES IT WORK - Spool-Flush Profile: 2" diameter, 2.4" tall. Designed to sit inside a standard spool hub without poking above the rim - so your vacuum sealed bags stack flat, the way they're supposed to. - Purpose-Built for 3-5mm Desiccant Spheres: The diamond mesh pattern (2mm x 3mm openings) lets moisture through while keeping your beads locked inside. Grab a bag of 3-5mm silica spheres off Amazon and you're ready to go. - Lid Included: The 3MF file contains the container, the lid and a fill funnel. Print them, fill, seal, drop in. Done. - Three Plates, However You Want to Print It: The 3MF is laid out on three ready-made plates so you can run all the parts together in one go or print them one at a time, whichever suits the spool you have loaded. - Original Design: Modeled from scratch in SolidWorks. Not a remix.
