Have you ever thought, man, this clear tape dispenser is so boring and lame? well perfect! Now you can spice up your desk with this awesome snail-shaped tape dispenser. I made this model after wanting a more stable tape dispenser, a sequel to my previous model, Taposaur, the dinosaur-shaped tape dispenser. The dispenser has a built-in tape cutter; however, it may not be very sharp on printing. Be sure to sand it to a sharper point. The assembled model is approximately 4 inches wide, 2 inches deep, and 2.5 inches tall. PRINTING - Print with supports.
- Print 1 body, 1 shell, and 1 eye piece.
- If painting, it is best to print the shell separately from the body.
TIPS FOR ASSEMBLY - Use exploded view for reference.
- Sand and paint all parts prior to assembly.
- Prior to assembly, sand the tape cutter into a sharper point.
- Glue shell to body, aligning hexagons as shown in images.
- Glue the eye piece into the eye slots on the body.
