Sobre este modelo

🏰 Castle Cat House – 3D Printed Pet Castle Turn your cat into the king or queen of their own castle! 👑🐱 I designed this large castle-style pet house as a cozy hideaway and decorative piece for the home. It is primarily designed for cats, but depending on their size, it can also be used for other small pets. With its stone-wall appearance, battlements and four castle towers, the model is much more than a simple pet house – it is also a real eye-catcher for your home. 📐 Dimensions - Width: approx. 445 mm

- Length: approx. 445 mm

- Height: approx. 470 mm

- Weight of my printed version: approx. 4.4 kg

Despite the impressive finished size, you don't need a large-format 3D printer to build this castle. The model is divided into multiple individual parts and can be printed on printers with a minimum build volume of 220 × 220 × 220 mm. This means the project is also suitable for many common and smaller desktop 3D printers. 🧩 Assembly The castle consists of multiple individual printed parts that are printed separately and assembled afterwards. The components are designed to be plugged together and are then permanently secured with superglue (CA glue). This modular construction makes such a large model possible even without a large printer and also makes the individual parts easier to print. 🛡 Anti-Slip Recommendation Even though the finished castle weighs around 4.4 kg, cats can generate quite a bit of force when jumping in, climbing or playing. For this reason, I recommend attaching 4–5 small rubber or anti-slip pads underneath the base of the castle. This provides additional grip and helps prevent the castle from sliding across smooth floors such as laminate, parquet or tiles while your cat is playing. Self-adhesive furniture or anti-slip rubber pads work perfectly for this. 🐱 A Castle for Your Cat Add a small cushion or blanket inside and the castle becomes a comfortable retreat, sleeping place or observation spot. Despite being printable on a relatively compact 3D printer, the result is a huge 445 × 445 × 470 mm castle – a real little fortress for your four-legged ruler. 🏰 And, of course, every castle needs its king or queen. 👑🐱 Have fun printing – and I hope your cat enjoys its new kingdom! 🏰🐾 3D-Druckeinstellungen 🖨 Printing Recommendation PLA is a great choice for this project and is perfectly suitable for normal indoor use. - Material: PLA

- Minimum build volume: 220 × 220 × 220 mm

- Layer height: 0.20–0.28 mm

- Walls: 3–4

- Infill: approx. 10–15%

- Top/Bottom layers: 4–5

- Supports: only where required

- Assembly: plug together + superglue

- Anti-slip: 4–5 rubber pads underneath the base

Because the complete castle weighs around 4.4 kg, expect this to be a large, multi-part printing project with considerable filament consumption and printing time.
