I designed this slim display frame for my 150 × 200 mm 3D-printed art panels. It's a simple way to display your prints on a table, shelf, or wall without covering up the artwork with a bulky frame.

Sobre este modelo

I designed this slim display frame for my 150 × 200 mm 3D-printed art panels. It's a simple way to display your prints on a table, shelf, or wall without covering up the artwork with a bulky frame. The frame uses two halves that snap together, with no screws, glue, or separate retaining clips required. Still feel free to use glue!

Features:

- Fits 150 × 200 mm artwork

- Slim, minimal border

- Snap-together front and back

- Removable crossbar and kickstand for tabletop display

- Built-in wall hanger for portrait display

- Open back to allow natural light through the artwork

- Designed to print flat without supports

Choosing the Correct Frame Size I've included two rear frame options to accommodate different artwork thicknesses:

- 1.6 mm Rear Frame: Designed for standard 1.6 mm thick panels.

- 2.4 mm Rear Frame: An alternative for thicker 2.4 mm panels.

Both versions use the same front frame, crossbar, and kickstand. You only need to print one rear frame, depending on the thickness of your artwork.

Assembly: Place your artwork into the front frame, align the rear frame, and press the two halves together evenly until secured. For tabletop display, attach the removable crossbar and kickstand. For wall hanging, simply leave those pieces off and use the built-in hanging slot. The design is intended for portrait-oriented prints. Make sure to select the rear frame that matches your artwork thickness if multiple sizes are included. I designed this primarily for my multicolor stained-glass-style panels, but it can also be used with other flat 150 × 200 mm artwork.

Version 1 — More Updates Coming This is the first public version of my display frame. I've printed and tested the design, but I'm still working on improvements to make assembly easier, improve the fit, and refine the overall design. I plan to continue updating this model based on my own testing and feedback from others. If you print it and have suggestions or run into any issues, feel free to leave a comment. I'd appreciate the feedback! Feel free to print the frame in whatever color works best with your artwork.
