Sobre este modelo
#CULTSOWEEN
I wanted to design a quick, practical Halloween print that solves the annoying problem of charging cables constantly slipping off the back of my desk.
This is a desk-edge cable holder shaped like a skull sitting on top of a curved spine C-clamp. The skull features a hinged lower jaw with a built-in compliant spring arm at the back. To drop a cable in, you just press the lower jaw open, slide your USB-C or Lightning cord into one of the three 4.5 mm slots behind the teeth, and let the jaw bite down to keep the cable from falling when unplugged.
It mounts to any desk edge up to 45 mm thick using the 3D-printed bone thumb screw on the bottom, so you don't need any sticky tape or metal hardware. The whole setup takes less than 25 grams of filament and makes a great year-round desk organizer.
Files included (3 separate STL parts):
- 1_Spine_Skull_Clamp_Body.stl (Main spine C-clamp with the upper skull cranium)
- 2_Spring_Lower_Jaw.stl (Snap-in lower jaw with 3 cable channels and rear flex spring)
- 3_Bone_Clamp_Screw.stl (Threaded clamping bolt with a bone-knuckle grip knob)
