Sponsored by Tripo. A snail with a skull for a shell. Weird as hell, and I absolutely love how this one turned out.

Sobre este modelo
Sponsored by Tripo
A snail with a skull for a shell. Weird as hell, and I absolutely love how this one turned out.
The cracked skull curling into that spiral shell, the teeth, the textured little body… there’s so much going on, but it all comes together beautifully. Perfect for a shelf, your desk, a Halloween display, or just because your house clearly needs a skull snail.
I printed the body in matte white and the shell in Bambu’s Silk PLA Multicolor Red/Black. That combination looks ridiculously good. The white shows off all the skin detail, while the red and black silk catches the light beautifully across the skull and shell.
This model was generated with Tripo. My process was pretty straightforward: idea and prompt → concept image → Tripo 3D generation → preparing and slicing the model → printing. You can start with a text prompt or an image, which makes trying out weird ideas like this really easy. From idea to finished product, it only takes a few minutes. Digital generation can be quick—the actual preparation and print need a bit more patience. Especially this guy. He is a snail, after all.
If you fancy trying Tripo yourself, check it out here! And if you print him, show me! I’d love to see what colours you go with.
