The SKADIS Universal Mounting System (SUMS) is build upon the IKEA SKADIS board and used a standardized peg system. With this system, you can use one type of peg to attach various types of attachments. If an attachment is no longer needed, breaks or has gotten a new design, you can re-use the pegs in order to save some plastic. This also makes printing the attachments easier because it's not necessary to include a peg in the design so you can often print without supports. 🦾 Base peg In this model you can find the peg, including the Fusion360 files for the base plates. Feel free to create your own models on this system. It has served me and my hobby-leathercraft-studio nicely! 😀 - SUMS peg (used in all the attachments)

Printing You can print the pegs upside down without support. The pegs may have a tight fit with the printed attachments, but this is by design. You can press them in by force. You can use your own preferred settings, but mine are printed in PLA with 20% infill, two walls and 0.2mm STRUCTURAL preset. 🧩 Attachments Upon the years, the number of attachments has grown. Models with variable inserts In a few models, the main model is created in a large size. Using various inserts, you can vary sizes for the individual tools or products you want to store. Depending on the model, this is with various sized tubes, pegs or inserts. These are also added in the corresponding model folders. - Wax thread
