Sobre este modelo
This modular LED light bar hangs on an IKEA Skadis board and lights the work surface below it. It is built to be printed in parts, so you can make it as long as your board and workbench need. The model has five STL files: - Middle part (120 mm): the body of the bar. It has an LED groove 1 mm wider than a standard 10 mm strip, so the strip fits easily and can be glued in. The groove sits in a face tilted 80° from horizontal, which sends the light almost straight down.
- Optional Diffuser: a thin plate that slides into a rebate along the LED groove and evens out the light of the individual LEDs. Print it in translucent or white filament, one per middle part.
- Cable end cap: it sits on one end of the bar and plugs into the first middle part with two pins. Its cable opening is a 5×15 mm slot that lines up with a Skadis hole. Behind the slot the channel widens to 8 mm, so the cable can leave the bar and disappear behind the board.
- Cable cap cover: a plate that slides into the cap's rebate and hides the cable, so the cap looks as clean as the rest of the bar.
- Clean end cap: a rounded closing piece for the other end. Its pins plug into the last middle part.
Every part prints flat without supports, except painted on supports for the middle parts hooks (see slicer image).
