The holes for the provided SimpliSafe Video Doorbell Series 2 (released in 2026) brackets didn't line up with my old standard doorbell. This is a bracket that adapts the SimpliSafe bracket to the standard doorbell hole spacing. The SimpliSafe metal bracket has a lip on the top and a hole for the security screw on the bottom. This replaces one of the other two brackets that came with the camera. There are two screws that hold the metal bracket to this bracket, one screw that holes this bracket to the house, and another screw that goes through both the metal bracket, this bracket, and into the house. Assembly: - Screw in the upper middle of this bracket to the house.
- Put the SimpliSafe bracket on top and use short metric screws for top and middle holes to connect to this bracket (hole size 2.9mm)
- Use a long screw for the lower hole to go into the house.
