Sobre este modelo
I made this adapter for my 1994 KTM LC4 EGS 620 because I couldn't figure out how to mount the new coil properly, and no amount of google search turned up an adapter or install methods. It provides a clean mounting point for the HPI CD5004 ignition coil that replaces the original SEM TM 14-05 ignition coil. Files - STL: ready to print - STEP: for editing and remixes
Screws Used - 1× M6 × 20: mounts the HPI coil to the adapter (Hasler) - 2× M6 × 16 countersunk: mount the adapter to the original SEM mounting points, in the countersunk holes (Hasler) - 1× M6 hex nut (10 mm across flats): slides into the nut pocket at the back of the adapter (Hasler). The nut pocket in the STL is 0.2 mm smaller than the nut, so it's a tight press fit and the nut stays put.
Print Settings - Printer: Creality Ender-3 V3 KE - Slicer: OrcaSlicer, standard Creality profile (Any slicer can be used. I just prefer OrcaSlicer) - Material: ABS - Infill: 100%
Printed in ABS at 100% infill, it has held up well on the bike so far, and this bike vibrates a ton. Feel free to post remixes using the STEP file, or go straight to printing with the STL! Compatibility It may also fit other bikes listed for this HPI ignition coil, though some modification might be needed: HPI CD5004 Ignition Coil
