Sobre este modelo
My lab just got a new toy: an XOS Petra MAX X-ray fluorescence spectrometer and I wanted a sample tray for when I'm prepping a batch of samples. Since my samples solidify at room temperature, it's important that the prepared samples sit in the same orientation as when they are loaded into the instrument. To that end, I whipped up this simple sample tray in Tinkercad. Tinkercad design here A cover for when the holder isn't in use is included in the design for particularly dusty labs (like mine). I may also add a larger cover to allow you to cover everything even with samples in the tray. Or, you know, you can create one or remix this one. The billboard on the front is for affixing an OSHA HAZCOM label to your tray, in case you need to leave your batch of samples sitting overnight. It's 80x40mm, which is big enough for our HAZCOM labels. Feel free to tinker with it if your labels are larger. No real special printing instructions except to pay attention to chemical and thermal compatibility. If you have no significant concerns about temperature or solvents, PLA is probably fine. For higher temperatures, I'd recommend ABS or ASA. For higher temperatures + chemical resistance, PETG, nylon, or HDPE are probably the better bets. The footprint of the tray is small enough to fit on most common hobbyist printers like the Ender 3 on up. Everything is released under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike license.
