Sobre este modelo

Designed in the shop, for the shop. This freestanding stand holds a 10.9–11″ iPad in its case, in portrait, at a 65° working angle on the bench — for instructions, video calls, or a second screen that survives the workshop.

### ⚠ CASE vs NO CASE — please read before printing **This stand is designed for a tablet IN A CASE.** - **With a case (up to 193 mm wide × 20 mm thick):** that's the fit it was built and tested for. The spring blades grip the case and the tablet sits snug. Tested in our shop on an iPad 10th gen in a slim folio case — fits good, verified. - **Without a case:** a bare iPad will stand in it, but it will NOT be snug — the channel is sized for a case, so a bare tablet (~179 mm wide) has roughly 14 mm of side-to-side play and the blades won't grip it. It displays fine; it just isn't the fit this design is for. - **Too thick:** the chunkiest strap-and-stand cases (OtterBox Defender, SEYMAC, Targus Rugged Max class, ~22–25 mm thick) do not fit the tray. - **Measure your case** — width across the case, and its thickest point — if you're anywhere near the limits.

### Features - FLEX SIDES: tapered spring blades bow outward a few millimetres and grip with light pressure. - ONE PIECE, ZERO HARDWARE: no screws, no inserts, no assembly. Off the plate, onto the bench. - NO SUPPORTS: prints in its use orientation (base flat). Brim recommended. - CHARGE WHILE DOCKED: a 24 mm through-channel in the ledge — the USB-C cable plugs in from the front while the iPad is docked. Wide enough for chunky case port surrounds. - Sculpted fins, tapered back, rounded everything — no sharp corners. - "SHAMROCK & OAK LAB" is recessed into the base — printed in, not a sticker.

### Will it fit my iPad? Designed around the iPad 10th generation in a case; fits the 10.9–11″ family in standard cases: iPad 10th gen, iPad 11th gen (A16), iPad 9th gen, iPad Air 4, 5, 6 (M2) and Air (M3) 11″, iPad Pro 11″ (1st–4th gen, M4, M5). The rule: any tablet in a case up to 193 mm wide and 20 mm thick. The top of the iPad extends above the back plate — by design; the tray carries the weight. **Does not fit:** iPad Pro 12.9″, iPad Pro 13″, iPad Air 13″ (~215 mm wide bare — wider than the channel before a case goes on). **iPad mini 6 / mini (A17 Pro):** fit loose — they sit safely in the tray but are well under the blades' grip range.

### Print settings (as printed) - PLA (PETG also fine), 0.4 mm nozzle - 0.28 mm layers - 4 wall loops, 15% gyroid infill - Brim ON, supports OFF - Single-color fused STL included; the 7-part kit is the two-color option

### Two-color option The download includes a 7-part kit (base, plate, ledge, blade L/R, fin L/R), exported in place: import all parts at once as one multi-part object and assign a filament per part. Our shop print: base + fins in purple, plate + ledge + blades in green.
