Sobre este modelo
Create your own beautiful rose earrings with a little 3D printing, some glue, and a bit of patience! What you'll need: - Earring studs (with flat backs for gluing)
- Glue
- A little patience (okay, maybe a lot)
Let's be honest: Will it be a little frustrating? Probably yes. Will you end up with glue all over your fingers and accidentally glue yourself to the rose? Probably yes. Will you have to print it several times because your printer refuses to give you that perfect first layer? Probably yes. Will it be worth it? Absolutely! 🌹 Still want to give it a try? Here's how: - Print the parts. Load the 3MF or STL file and print at very slow speeds to get a good first layer. I used just 5 mm/s for the first layer.
- Improve bed adhesion. Add a brim to one of the pins (not the rose blossom) for better adhesion to the build plate.
- Roll your rose. Once the print is finished, carefully remove the parts from the build plate. Take one rose blossom and start rolling it up, beginning at the outer end.
- Secure the blossom. Once you've rolled it up, apply enough glue to the back to keep it from unrolling—but not so much that the glue becomes visible from the front.
- Insert the pin. Before the glue dries, take one of the printed pins, thread it through the hole, and glue it to the end of the rose strip so that the pin itself sits inside the blossom.
- Attach the earring stud. Let the glue set for a little while, or go straight ahead and glue the earring stud to the back of the rose.
- Make the second one. Repeat the process for the other earring. Hopefully, you're a pro by now!
Enjoy! 🌹 Congratulations! You've turned a flat 3D print into a pair of beautiful rose earrings. Now go show them off—and try not to glue your fingers together along the way! I'm locking forward to your Makes!
