Ripple Stand - Phone & Tablet Stand, No Supports

A clean, modern stand for your phone, Switch-size device or tablet, with a rippled back and a hidden charging-cable route.

The trick: Ripple Stand prints lying on its side, so the whole side profile sits flat on the build plate. Nothing needs supports, layer lines run across the load for strength, and every curve comes out smooth.

Features - Deep 15 mm slot: fits phones in thick, rugged cases. - Phone sits 24 mm above the desk for a better viewing angle, leaning back at 22°. - Charging-cable route: the plug drops into a pocket under the phone and the cable runs through a tunnel in the base and out the back. No cable showing at the front. - Rippled rear leg, consistent 6 mm inner fillets and 1 mm chamfered edges. - Open triangle frame: rigid, light and doesn't tip. - One piece. No assembly, no hardware, no glue.

All three fit the A1 mini (180 mm) bed.

Cable compatibility: The plug pocket fits straight USB-C / Lightning plugs with an overmold up to about 11 x 7 mm. Very long plugs may lift the phone a little. A right-angle cable always fits.

Parametric: ripple_stand.py (CadQuery) exposes width, backrest length, slot width, lean angle, ledge height and cable on/off.

Print settings - Orientation: as supplied, lying on its side (largest flat face on the bed). Do not stand it upright. - Supports: none. Brim: not needed. - Layer height 0.2 mm, 3 walls, 10–15% gyroid infill. - PLA, PETG or PLA Matte all work. - Estimated with 15% infill (not sliced, so check your slicer): phone ~85 g / ~3–4.5 h, mini tablet ~130 g / ~4.5–6.5 h, tablet ~190 g / ~6.5–9.5 h. For the big sizes, drop to 10% infill to save time.
