Sobre este modelo

Did your small animal cage arrive from Temu (or similar modular sellers) with a missing or broken door panel (same as mine DID? :D) ? This is a heavy-duty, fully functional replacement door fitting 35cm wide cage (and maybe 35 with adjustmnets) with a high-ventilation grid. Fits e.g. this one: https://www.temu.com/cz-en/small-animal-cage--disassembled-and-assembled-scenic-birdcage-prevents--and-easy-to--dense-mesh-to-prevent--and-chewing--design-suitable-for-keeping-birds--g-607426669568085.html

Perfect for rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and other small pets, this door features a unique two-way "double-jointed" hinge that allows it to swing open a full 180° and fold completely flat against the exterior cage wire. No more doors awkwardly sticking out into your walkway or getting in the way during feeding time! It can even be securely locked in the "fully open" position flat against the wire if your modular setup features wide outer elements. 💡 Key Features

- Perfect Modular Match: Designed specifically to fit standard 35cm (approx. 13.8”) panels found in modular disassembled small animal cages on Temu, Amazon, and AliExpress. With hinge, little bit of heat from hair dryer might be needed to fit perfectly.

- Double-Jointed 180° Hinge: Folds back completely flat against the mesh outer walls, maximizing accessibility while keeping your room clutter-free.

- Dual Locking Latches: Red-capped rotatable safety locks keep your adventurous pets securely inside, while remaining easily operable by human hands.

- Pet-Safe & Airy: Features dense mesh-like circular ventilation holes to ensure maximum airflow, light, and visual interaction, while keeping small paws safe.

- No Extra Fasteners Needed: The hinge is entirely held together and locked using a scrap piece of 1.75mm 3D printing filament.

🔧 Print Settings Because this door needs to securely hold pets and requires some "spring" in the clip elements, choose durable, non-brittle materials:

- Recommended Material: PETG is strongly recommended for both the main door and hinges. It provides the necessary flex to click onto modular cage wires without snapping and handles typical pet mess and cleanings easily. If using PLA, print with extra walls to ensure standard pet impacts won't break it. PLA is fine for the locking mechanism.

🔨 Assembly & Installation Guide Unfortunately did not create a manual when creating this, as I was not gonna publish it as it's pretty specific usecase, but someone might find it handy. Construction should be simple enough Putting your new door together is simple and uses material you already have on hand:

- Alignment: Place the double-jointed hinge bracket into position on the main door loops.

- Filament Lock: Take a piece of 1.75mm scrap 3D printing filament and slide it through the aligned hinge holes to act as the hinge pin (joining the parts together).

- Melt the Ends (Important): Cut the filament to size, leaving just 1–2mm of extra length on both ends. Use a lighter or heat source to carefully melt and flatten both ends of the filament pin so it functions like a rivet and cannot fall out.

- Attach the Latches: Push the red safety locks through the door holes and secure them to verify smooth, easy rotation. Use the screw on to lock on

- Snap On: Clip the robust hinge assembly directly onto your modular cage’s existing 35cm panel wire, once again using filament for locking in place.

Note: Please ensure the filament pin is securely melted at both ends so the door stays functional and safe from curiosities!
