Sobre este modelo
Layshaft for the MK1 (late 1940s) Raglan Little John Lathe. This is the shaft that the driven variable speed pulley and the twin belt pulley for the spindle rides on. Please note that the parts manual images i have supplied are from a MK2 little John, for the most part they are very similar, although there were a few changes. In this example the washer on my machine is different (maybe mine is not original?) the mk2 appears to have a revised washer, where they have made it into a shield for the other wise open bearing (part No.23). Also note, for my machine, the washer is held in place with a 5/16" BSW bolt - overall length 0.75", threaded length 17/32"
