QIDI Plus 5 Pragmatic Waste/Poop Chute
por Kerry Martin en Thingiverse
This waste chute is intended to be effective, but simple and efficient as well. It prints on my QIDI Plus 5 printer using high-speed ABS in just over 1 hour using much less filament that other designs I have seen. It redirects the waste (e.g. "poop") made when the printer cleans the nozzle backward.

Sobre este modelo
This waste chute is intended to be effective, but simple and efficient as well. It prints on my QIDI Plus 5 printer using high-speed ABS in just over 1 hour using much less filament that other designs I have seen. It redirects the waste (e.g. "poop") made when the printer cleans the nozzle backward and to the side. You provide a small box to catch the little bundles of joy. I used a plastic electronic prototype enclosure that I had laying around, but it can be as simple as a small shipping box. This chute will allow your waste box to clear the power and Ethernet cables on the back of the machine. It is angled to minimize blockage of air flow through the vent holes. This waste chute uses the 3 mounting screws for the chute, located on the back of the machine. Remove these three screws, put them in the holes in this chute extender, and then screw them back into the original holes. These are self-tapping screws, so do not overtighten them. Place your container under the chute. Empty it when it is full. Print it in PETG, ABS, ASA, PC or any material that can withstand some higher temperature. Do not use PLA. Use a brim to aid in bed adhesion.
