Sobre este modelo

This is a 33 hour print on the INDX. This is part of a Pinball Topper project I am doing, and the sculpture is based off the Princess Donut from the pinball being made by Multimorphic. Donut is a Tortoise Shell Persian, and let me tell you, that's a hard color to represent, especially in a limited-pallette 3D file.

This is a stand-alone sculpture of Donut, and uses 7 colors + soluble support filament. Color mix is used in several places to get various shades of brown, violet, 2 different pinks, and purple. The 3MF file has a huge number of color mixes, but I only use a few of those in this final version. Many are remnants from prior tests.

This model has been highly tuned with over 200 hours of test prints and hours of coloring and tweaking in Prusaslicer. I highly advise changing none of the parameters (other than bed and print temperatures) to suit your filament. The support settings are massively tuned and were hard-learned after several test prints to ensure the complex fur geometry prints properly.

You can download and print the bgcode directly on an 8-tool INDX (220 Filament/60 Bed), or make adjustments in the 3MF.

Filament colors are as follows:

1) Cyan 2) Magenta 3) Dark Brown 4) White 5) Pumpkin/Dark Orange 6) Tan 7) Medium Brown 8) PVA Soluble Support Filament

I really appreciate that Prusa posted the magnificent Octupus Tool Holder to print with my INDX, and I learned a huge amount about coloring studing that file. I used similar techniques here.

This is my own design, and may not be further altered or distributed. Consider this my gift to the community for all the help with my INDX.
